[First issue special issue star interview 2] Staff’s view about LMH? “The more I see him, he’s someone with loads of cuteness that deserves to be whipped (?)

Lee Min Ho is known for communicating with his fans worldwide through his personal twitter, facebook, mini homepage and official homepage. Occasionally he’ll also share pictures of himself (selfcam or selca) which earned wholehearted response from his fans.

The reporter commented “it seems like you’ve mastered the technique of selca,” to which LMH waved his hand replying, “Ae–i, only 1 or 2 pictures are picked out of hundreds that were taken. Those are the product of tremendous effort.”

He’s able to capture various selcas during filming thanks to his staff members who are like family to him. The team consists of 2 managers, a stylist, a hair designer and a makeup artist, who have worked with him for the past 3~4 years.

Because of that, they appear in his twitter pictures from time to time. I asked the lovely 3 musketeers (his 3 female staff) ‘what kind person is Lee Min Ho to which their replies overflow with warmth.

Hair designer Seo Jini said “he’s a cute aegyo person~” while laughing. “He has the ability to make people feel comfortable. Right from the first time we met up til now, he’s been making our lives miserable. Now, we’ll both miss each other if the other person is not around.”

Makeup artist Yoo Hye Mi said “Lee Min Ho-goon coerces us, he’s like a ‘Bol Mae’. By that I don’t mean that he becomes more attractive the more you know him, I mean he’s the style that deserves a whipping the more you know him,” and laughed crackingly. (P.S: Bol Mae is an abbreviation frequently used to mean that the person is more attractive the more you see him/her)

LMH responded yelling, “You guys are also Bol Mae!” and all of them laughed in a heap.

Watching them joking around reminds me of a mixed indie band of Hongdae. “Really?” they asked with a smile of satisfaction.

Lee Min Ho said " Other stars may feel awkward to be reported together with their staffs but it’s the direct opposite for us. We study hard how we can make one another come out well,” displaying a strong teamwork that is worth being proud of..."

[창간특집 스타인터뷰2] 스태프가 본 이민호는? "볼수록 매를 버는(?) 애교덩어리"


[이뉴스24 이인경 기자] 이민호는 개인 트위터, 페이스북, 미니홈피, 공식홈페이지 모두에 직접 참여하며 전세계 팬들과 직접 소통하는 것으로 유명하다. 직접 셀프카메라를 찍어서 시시때때로 공개해 팬들의 전폭적인 호응을 얻고 있다.

기자가 “셀카에 도가 튼 것 같다”고 하자, “에이, 수백장 찍어서 한 두장 건진 걸 페이스북에 올려놓는 건데요. 그게 얼마나 노력 끝에 나온 산물들인데”라며 손사래를 친다.

그가 촬영장에서 다양한 셀카를 찍을 수 있는 이유는 바로 가족처럼 함께 하는 스태프들 덕분이다. 전담 매니저 둘, 스타일리스트, 헤어디자이너, 메이크업 아티스트가 팀을 이뤄 지난 3~4년간 이민호와 함께 했다.

때문에 이민호의 트위터 사진에는 이들의 얼굴이 수시로 등장한다. 특히 미녀삼총사인 이민호의 세 여성 스태프에게 ‘이민호란 어떤 사람인가’를 물어보자 인간미 넘치는 답이 돌아왔다.

우선 이민호의 스타일리스트인 성선영씨는 “푼수 같은 귀여운 동생”이라고 말했다. 그는 “내 친남동보다 민호와 있는 시간이 더 많아서인지 진짜 남동생 같다. 먹는 걸 좋아하는 식도락 기질이 나와 닮아서 둘이 먹는 얘기로 시간가는 줄 모르고 지낸다”며 웃었다.

헤어디자이너인 서진이씨는 “귀여운 애교쟁이~”이라며 웃었다. 그는 “사람을 편하게 만들어주는 재주가 있다. 처음 만난 순간부터 지금까지 변함없이 우리를 괴롭힌다. 이제 옆에 없으면 서로 허전한 존재가 됐다”고 말했다.

메이크업 아티스트 유혜미씨는 “이민호군의 강요에 못이겨 ‘볼매’ 정도로 해두겠다. 볼수록 매력적이라는 말이 아니라 볼수록 매를 버는 스타일이기 때문”이라며 꺄르르 웃었다.

이민호가 “당신들도 볼매야!”라고 소리를 지르자 다같이 한바탕 웃음을 터뜨렸다.

세 미녀와 이민호가 어울려 장난치는 모습이 홍대 혼성 인디밴드 같다고 하자 “진짜요?”하며 모두 만족해하는 미소가 가득하다.

이민호는 “다른 스타들 스태프는 인터뷰에 얼굴 같이 실리면 쑥스러워 하는데 우리는 정반대다. 서로 잘 나오려고 연구 많이 한다”며 막강 팀워크를 자랑했다.
